The Right Clothes
Rather than just another look at fashions, this discussion is about being dressed properly in God's sight. During our lives, our clothing changes to meet the demands of life. So, too, our inward adornment changes as we grow to be more like the Master Designer. One must always remember that believers in Christ wear not only His Name: "Christ One or Christian", but also His Robe of Righteousness as seen by the Father. This can be a program of a single period of time giving Betty's testimony, or a series of lessons with applications.
Contentment, Peace of Mind, Women's Wisdom
Are you happy with your role in life? Can you be? Betty has moved from discontentment to stability. Do you know your own identity? Do you struggle with self-esteem. Betty was once unsure of her value as a person and has grown to know her worth to God. How can you live above the circumstances instead of "under" them? Are you being prompted to change? How do you cope with sickness and pain (in yourself and others)? Can you relate to all the people in your life? Your mate, adult children, in-laws, friends, children? Do you seek to be a friend? Do you know how to communicate your feelings with others? Things are not always what they seem. These lessons can give you insight and skills for coping.
So You're a Grand Parent?
There is more to Grand Parenting than baby sitting or having the family for a meal. Grandparents sometimes provide the stability and Biblical influence children crave. We also influence their decisions if we are available and willing to share our knowledge. With added years hopefully comes added wisdom. We can impart many character building qualities without being "preachy."

Having trouble getting started? Perhaps you need a reason or someone to generate ideas. you can have a private journal to chart your spiritual progress, or you may want to record your activities and add spiritual insight. You may want to share your life with children or grandchildren. It's much easier than you may think.

With the help of a friend, Betty can provide a skit or entire program on a subject of your choice. The skit portrays the humorous side of a serious topic. In character, Faith and Grace are two eccentric spinster sisters who are also retired school teachers. The serious side of the subject will also come through as the subject is discussed throughout the skit.
